Modular Pendant Table Lamp

Drops is a project in progress. The goal is to build a table pendant lamp that is modular and can be adapted to any table length. With this design, one can choose the number of lamp modules over the work surface.

Each module will shine a cone of light on the table while reflecting a warm light on the wood and the ceiling.

I will update this page as the projects goes on.

More details soon…

Drops uses four or more LED modules. Each module is composed of three aluminium and solid beech wood parts. The module shines a powerful light to the table while reflecting a warm light to the sides and ceiling.

The top housing is made out of laser cut stainless steel. It features a quick release system. On the side of the housing, a potentiometer allows to dim the lamp from 100% to 20% light intensity.

Inside the housing, the Mean-Well power supply converts the 220V voltage into 10V that can directly be fed to each LED. There is room to tuck the cables, allowing to adjust the cable length precisely.
