Pharaon

2.1 Stereo Sound System

Pharaon

The goal of Pharaon was to build stereo speakers that complement the music I am listening to. The speakers had to spark curiosity and make you wonder about their purpose without compromising on sound quality. The pyramidal shape seemed perfectly suited for this.

Pharaon is a 2.1 stereo sound system. I designed the wood structure to support drivers provided by https://www.hifikit.se. The setup consists of one subwoofer in the pyramid and two mid and high speakers in the towers. At the top of the towers, the sound from the tweeter gets reflected off the inverted metal pyramid to be directed towards the room.

It took about three weeks to complete this project.

The last pictures displays the first version of the speakers which were later updated.
